These bases by Warne are specifically made for H-S Precision rifles. H-S Precision rifles take .840 screws on the bases -- not the standard .640 screws other rifles take. These bases come with the correct size screws. The Maxima Two Piece Base features:
• Common steel sporting type base
• Can be used for either short or long action
• For HS Precision rifles and all other rifles drilled for .840 screws
• Matte finish
